Speak Up and Speak Out
Don’t be silent when you see abuse, report it to the proper authorities.
Provide Support
Be a rock for someone experiencing abuse. Even when it appears that they are pushing you away or making risky decisions, be careful about cutting off ties – isolation is the abuser’s number one weapon. Victims need to know that they have someone in their corner who isn’t judging them.
